Following this, Mai, our dental hygienist, conducts a comprehensive dental cleaning, ensuring your pearly whites are free of any potential threats.

Mastering Home Care

Our job doesn’t end with your visit. We also equip you with the knowledge and skills to care for your teeth at home properly. This includes brushing your teeth twice daily, in the morning and at night, regular flossing before brushing to eliminate plaque build-up between the teeth, and using a mouth rinse to maintain gum health.

It’s also important to avoid consuming sugary foods and drinks as they pose severe threats to your oral health for several reasons. The bacteria in the mouth utilise sugar to produce acids, which are responsible for the erosion of your tooth enamel, and, consequently, cause tooth decay and cavities. These acids also create an environment conducive to gum disease, a prevalent factor in adult tooth loss. Apart from causing decay, these harmful acids can erode your teeth’s surface, inducing sensitivity and other dental complications.
